Izona Cooksurface Makes Cooking A Pleasure

Although it’s not in production yet, Fisher and Paykel’s Izona Cooksurface redefines the concept of a classy gas burner stove. Technology will make its way even deeper in our homes when this neat-looking cooksurface will be finalized.
It looks more like a ceramic electric hob than a gas one and uses only 3 burners instead of the classical 4. This may give you fewer cooking stations, but you won’t set your sleeves on fire reaching for the ones in the back anymore, as the burners are arranged in a row; also, each has its own LED heat indicator and heat controlling knob.
Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the CookSurface is its ability to retract each burner, making the cleaning very easy on the flat surface. If all these are still not good enough, it also uses the ‘Aero’ technology, distributing the heat evenly to all the food, and it has been nominated for the Australian International Design Awards.
