Laptop In A Desk

Here is an idea for you, your laptop and your desk. DesCom was designed by Sung-kyu Nam and it consists of a laptop integrated in a desk. The concept looks very cool just because that Samsung fits perfectly into the desk and the surface is so neat. Being the first of its kind and already looking astonishing, I expect more from other future design. Don’t know what ideas to bring about, but I guess that other PC accessories are welcomed.

amazing! a portable device permanently affixed to a desk, effectively destroying its portability . . . here’s an idea, free of charge: a lap
One word: why?
It’s useless. It’s too big for a laptop, and when you take it from the desk it leaves a big hole in it which makes the desk useless. The only good thing is that you have a stationary computer with less performance than an ordinary, but you can fold it away when you don’t need it.
Fail.
Wow. That’s the sleekest looking laptop and desk I’ve seen (btw it’s kin not king)
Yes, but is it upgradeable? *CRAAP! it isn’t! Well a 2 year old desk. *sigh. technology & it’s evils of evolution.
And the desk, hopefully with some review of plugging in a computer to the existing monitor & KB, the only thing someone would worry about is it’s style , going out of style. +1+1
Man you lot are fucking stupid, the idea is not so much “look I can slot my laptop into the desk” but showing a concept design where the desk and computer are one item. I mean you don’t try and rip the intergrated sat nav from your car, just because tom-tom is portable.
It’s nice, but that laptop looks think and heavy; more like the size of an old PPC iMac than anything else. And when the laptop isn’t installed, the desk has a pretty awkward shape, and it’s just waiting for grit or other stuff to get in the way of putting the laptop back.
That’s nice if the table has a docking station built in, and a way to cover the hole when not using the laptop so you have a smooth desk.
I still would not one even with those features though. I like the keyboard to be higher than my wrists.
